Subject: EU funding to Malta

Question(s)
1. Could the Commission provide an updated account, as at the date of this parliamentary question, of the financial disbursements made out of the EU budget and all related EU funds to Malta (government and other entities as/if relevant) for the calendar years 2012, 2013 and 2014?

2. Could it similarly provide an updated account of disbursements transferred by the Maltese government for the calendar years 2012, 2013, 2014 to the EU budget and all related EU funds?

The information on the expenditure allocated to Malta by Heading (and programmes/funds within headings) as well as the overview of the own resources payments of Malta to the EU budget for the years 2012 and 2013 are shown in the tables annexed to this reply.

This information can also be found in the EU budget Financial Report for 2013(1) and its interactive tables(2).

Consolidated data for 2014 are not yet available. They will be included in the Financial Report for 2014 whose publication is planned for July 2015.
