The media is invited to attend the launch of MALTA U L-EWRO – 2 – MALTA & THE EURO, a new publication by MEP Alfred Sant at Melita Gardens, Balzan on Friday 19 June at 12 hrs.
The book is being published at a time when the crisis between Greece and the rest of the eurozone is coming to a head.
The book describes what led to this crisis, other developments since 2012 which have contributed to economic stagnation and what should be done to reverse the high unemployment that racks the eurozone. It adopts a Maltese perspective throughout.
Dr. Alfred Sant will address the book launch.
A copy of the publication will be distributed to the media.
